Jivko Rokov has a broad-ranging corporate practice, focused primarily on mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, private equity transactions and corporate governance matters.
He has represented numerous multinational and local companies in connection with negotiated acquisitions and dispositions, including mergers, tender offers, purchase and sale of securities, assets and business units.
Jivko Rokov also advises business clients across the spectrum of labor and employment matters, including mass layoffs and reorganizations, allegations of wrongful termination, employment discrimination and has an extensive experience in matters arising in representation proceedings, collective bargaining negotiations, litigation in courts and administrative proceedings before competent government agencies.
Jivko Rokov has also a significant expertise in energy and infrastructure transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, project finance and project development in renewable energy, oil and gas, mining and electricity sector. He counsels clients in the development, construction, operation, acquisition, disposition, ownership and financing of energy and infrastructure projects.
Jivko Rokov joined Arsov Natchev Ganeva in 2001 and was admitted as a partner in 2004.

- assisted the leading global operator of water services Veolia Water in the acquisition of the United Utilities’ European non-regulated assets, including the controlling interest in Sofyiska Voda (Sofia Water), the concessionaire of the water and wastewater system of Sofia
- advised Société Générale on the acquisition of a key Bulgarian banking institution, First Investment Bank AD.
- advised the French insurance group Groupama in the successful acquisition of two insurance companies in Bulgaria, DSK Garancia General Insurance and DSK Garancia Life Insurance
- advised Swissport in connection with the sale of equity shares from its Bulgarian subsidiary and creation of a joint venture with the biggest Bulgarian group in the aviation business.
- Advised TUI Group in all major corporate restructurings, acquisition and disposition of assets regarding TUI’s subsidiaries and operations in Bulgaria.
- Counseled Groupe Danone in in the context of the acquisition of its Bulgarian production capacities by its US partner Schreiber Foods.
- Jivko Rokov is advising Interconnector Greece Bulgaria -ICGB and its shareholders - Bulgarian Energy Holding, Edison International and DEPA in relation to the strategic project for construction and operation of a natural gas pipeline between Bulgaria and Greece aiming to secure diversification of gas supply routes in South-East Europe.

- assisted numerous renewable energy projects inducing due diligence, acquisition, construction and development of wind, hydro and solar power plants across the country.
