Tsvetelina Lazarova’s primary areas of expertise encompass Real estates and Construction, Energy, Environment and Natural Resources and PPP, Concessions and Infrastructure.

Tsvetelina has an extensive and successful practice covering all areas of real estate and construction law. Tsvetelina has advised foreign and domestic private and public entities on a broad range of legal and practical matters inherent to the different types of real estate transactions and various construction projects.

Tsvetelina also advises clients in the field of energy and infrastructure transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, construction, operation, disposition, ownership and financing of renewable energy, oil and gas, water supply and sewerage. Tsvetelina has assisted numerous energy projects aiming acquisition, construction and development of wind, hydro and solar power plants as well as gas pipelines across the country.

Tsvetelina has also been advising clients on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters related to their business ventures in Bulgaria.

Tsvetelina Lazarova joined Arsov Natchev Ganeva in 2009. Prior to joining the legal team of Arsov Natchev Ganeva, she worked for a German-Bulgarian law firm in Sofia specialized in business law.

  • Assists the global discount supermarket chain Lidl in all legal aspects of the company’s expansion throughout Bulgaria. Since 2009 Tsvetelina has assisted the company in the successful acquisition and construction of numerous supermarkets as well as in the establishment of securities (mortgages over more than 50 properties) under two separate loan agreements concluded with the World Bank and EBRD;
  • Advises the project company ICGB and its shareholders - Bulgarian Energy Holding, Edison International and DEPA in relation to the strategic project for construction and operation of a natural gas pipeline between Bulgaria and Greece (Interconnector Greece Bulgaria) which aims to secure diversification of gas supply routes in South-East Europe;
  • Advised the French chain sport goods Decathlon in the course of its expansion on the Bulgarian market;
  • Advised the Bulgarian subsidiary of Renault Trucks Group in connection with the sale of a complex of an administrative, warehouse and trucks service buildings as well as in connection with leasing and/or acquisition of various properties aimed for warehouses of the company;
  • Advises the international supplier of steering technology for the automotive sector and related industries Willi Elbe in the course of its establishment in Bulgaria and the operation of a brand new factory in the Commercial Industrial Zone Trakia in the area of Plovdiv;
  • Advised Gebr. Heinemann Bulgaria OOD, part of Gebr. Heinemann Group - worldwide distributor and retailer for the international travel retail market, in relation to the setting up of several travel retail shops;
  • Participated as legal expert advising the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works in the implementation of the newly introduced water supply and sewerage legislation regarding the change of status of the WSS Assets, the functioning of the new WSS Associations managing the assets and the new regime for delegation of the WSS assets and services to the existing WSS operators;
  • Participated in completion of a full due diligence of the project companies and the assets necessary for the operation of ten photovoltaic power plants in Bulgaria by the German investment company Parabel, a wind power plant with a joint capacity of up to 50 MW by the French investment fund Akuo Energy and a wind power plant with a joint capacity of up to 30 MW by the French-Spanish investment group Grupo Heliosolar.
