Yordan Terziev practices primarily in the areas of Corporate and M&A law, Energy, Environment and Natural Resources law, Restructuring and Insolvency, with also strong focus on Dispute Resolution.
He consulted a wide range of clients with Bulgarian and international background in connection with their business ventures in Bulgaria, including in the context of setting up of subsidiaries and representative offices, dealings with various governmental authorities, obtaining of permits and licenses, purchase and sale of shareholdings stakes, assets and others.
Yordan Terziev has extensive experience in providing legal assistance and advice in relation to clients’ current business activities as well as regarding specific corporate and regulatory issues. He also advises and represents numerous companies and public institutions in litigation and administrative proceedings, enforcement proceedings, proceedings for recognition and execution of foreign court judgments on Bulgarian territory.

- advises and represents the European Commission for the purposes of the enforcement in Bulgaria of Commission’s decisions as provided in art. 299 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union.
- advised and represented the French financial institution Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations in debt recovery proceedings in Bulgaria.
- advises and represents several important French companies for the purposes of return of funds transferred to Bulgarian banks as a result of organized fraud schemes.
- advised Ecopack Bulgaria in connection with numerous legal proceedings , including in commercial arbitrations, debt collection proceedings, restructurings and bankruptcy proceedings.
- advised the French sporting goods retail chain Decathlon on corporate, labor and commercial law issues in the course of its expansion on the Bulgarian market.
- advised Danone Group and its Bulgarian subsidiary Danone Serdika on different regulatory, corporate and commercial matters.
- assisted the French VAT recovery company Eurovat SAS at the start of its operations in Bulgaria and currently advising it on different tax and commercial matters.
- advised the Bulgarian subsidiary of AS 24 Group in the course of its current activities, including in the fields of corporate governance, commercial and contractual relations, debt collection.
- counseled CPAchem, one of the leading companies in the production of custom-made chemical solutions, during the reorganization of its corporate structure and business activity.
- assisted numerous French investors in the course of their establishment in Bulgaria.
